On March 27, Eastern Kazakhstan, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yuriy Ilyin paid a working visit to study the flood situation. He held a working meeting with the regional headquarters, and also from the regional akimat took part in the meeting of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At present, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Deputy Akim of the East Kazakhstan region fly over the flooded territories of the region.
Yuriy Ilyin estimated the situation with a high water in Glubokovsky and Shemonaiha regions.
The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs drew particular attention to the areas where the most critical situation was developing - the villages Progress, Glubokoe, Predvornoye, Shemonaiha, Verkh-Uba.
All settlements are under constant control of rescue units, rescue operations are carried out.
The additional grouping of forces is planned, and additional measures are being taken, both to protect people and to ensure their livelihoods. Note that currently in the evacuation points of the region is about 100 people, another 900 from relatives. Some citizens refuse to evacuate.
For citizens, the delivery of products has been carried out, and psychological assistance is being provided locally.
