In this regard, from November 25 to December 10 this year in all areas of the republic of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the action "16 days without violence against women" is held. The main goal of the action is to familiarize the population with the measures aimed at preventing and combating violence against women, protecting motherhood and childhood, and strengthening the role of the family in society. During the action, the guards of the order visit unfavorable families, as well as persons prone to offenses in everyday life. Particular attention is paid to compliance with the established restrictions by persons for whom protective orders have been issued or specific requirements for behavior have been established. Police officers explain to residents the legislation on the protection of women from violence. In educational institutions, police conduct seminars, trainings, round tables on the promotion of family values. Also, to increase the legal literacy of citizens on the basis of crisis centers and non-governmental organizations in each region, hotlines "Hot Line" work.
For reference: The Ministry of Internal Affairs over the past few years has done some work to improve the legislative framework aimed at preventing offenses in the sphere of family and household relations. Legal, social and organizational aspects of the activities of state bodies, akimats and citizens were organized to organize the prevention of this social phenomenon. Police officers, by issuing protective orders, are entitled to establish certain prohibitions against family rowdy men, limiting his contact with the victim. Over 7 years the police installed more than 576 thousand protective orders and more than 51.9 thousand special requirements for the conduct of offenders. In the first 9 months of 2017, more than 49.2 thousand protective orders were issued and more than 4.8 thousand special requirements for behavior of offenders.
