There are expositions dedicated to various stages of formation and development of the Internal Affairs authorities in seven halls of the Museum.
The first hall are devoted to the establishment of Soviet power, the creation and formation of the National Commissariats of Internal Affairs in the period of foreign intervention and civil war in Kazakhstan (1917-1925 yy.).
The second room introduces the activities of the NCIA authorities of Kazakhstan in the years of socialist industrialization and collectivization (1926-1932 yy.).
Third hall exposition describes the participation of employees of the NCIA in fighting against the German invaders during the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945).
The fourth exhibition is devoted to the police service in the postwar years (1945-1968yy.).
The fifth hall introduces the activities of the divisions of the state traffic police, operatively criminal service and the Central society «Dynamo».
The exhibition of the sixth hall reflects the main events in the activity of the MIA of RK from the date of relocation to Astana city.
A special place in the Museum occupies a memory area dedicated to "Halyk Khaһarmany " GazizBaytasov.
The exposition of the next hall presents gifts to Internal Affairs authorities by international delegations of the law enforcement bodies of the foreign countries.
Museum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan is a comprehensive, research and cultural center of the bodies of Internal Affairs, which main task is to raise the sense of responsibility and love for the Motherland, strengthening of ties between generations, promotion of a glorious and heroic traditions of the police, perpetuation of the memory of persistent and devoted debt people.
